Pip Laurie and I went camping, and my Mum & Dad came too in their motorhome. We had a very English weekend with rainy tents, a church fete, a beach, a miniature steam train, rowing boats, and climbing a lighthouse.

Pip, Laurie & I met Sarah, Andrew and Olivia at London Zoo. We arrived at 11am and got kicked out at 6pm, and still only saw about two-thirds of it. Brilliant!

We got the cheap train deal again so whizzed up to Scotland to see Griff, Clare and Amy, and Ol and Amanda and new baby Duncan, and Kitty back from NZ too.

Pip, Laurie and I spent Easter in Emmie's Cottage in Osmington, Dorset, with my Mum & Dad, Pip's Mum & Dad, Frances & Keith, Lucy, Peter, Ginny and Jo. Plus three dogs.

Pip, Laurie & I went to Snowdonia in North Wales for a week at the start of June 2008. Sally and David, Jo and Ginny, and Frances came for the first weekend.
Jo & Alex came for the rest of the week, and then we went to the Lakes for a wet weekend at the end to see Pat & Joe Griffiths and the rest of Griff's family on their 50th wedding anniversary.

We drove a 1,500 mile round trip to Achiltibuie in the Scottish Highlands, and spent a week in a fantastic house overlooking the Summer Isles.

On October 7th 2007, my brother-in-law Jo & I ran the Loch Ness Marathon. We both finished, he in 4h15m24s (866/1427), and I in 4h36m05s (1096/1427).
Pip & Ginny ran the River Ness 10K at the same time, and Griff, Clare, Amy and Skye came up to babysit, as did my parents in their motorhome.

Pip, Laurie and I spent a week at the start of September 2007 in Coniston in the Lake District, sharing a (noisy) cottage with Clare, Griff, Amelia and Skye; Claire, Alex and Beatrice; and Fi, Wim and Stephanie.
Gin came up for the first two days, and Clare and Alan, and Catherine, Bryan and George all stayed in a neighbouring cottage.
On the Monday we went ape.

Sat, Jo, Andrew, Lydia, Pip & I went to Beer in Devon 29th-31st July 2005. We camped at Beer Head and went mackeral fishing, and barbecued the haul on the beach.

As part of CSFB's Giva A Day To Charity scheme, I took a group of volunteers to the SS Robin in West India Dock at Canary Wharf. We cleared the fo'c'sle of cement ballast so it could be converted into a classroom, and we shifted the trim of the ship in the process.
